Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse enters its final non-conference game of the season as a 17-point favorite over Texas Southern, the third consecutive game the Orange opened as an overwhelming favorite.

Texas Southern's lone win came against Texas-San Antonio, and the Tigers have played two power-five opponents, losing to Clemson by 20 and Mississippi State by 13.
