Syracuse, N.Y. — The Carrier Dome crowd drifted into the backcourt Friday night to get selfies with Syracuse basketball players, some still sweaty from the exertions of Orange Madness.
There were swooning young women (we won't mention names) and kids excited to get so close to their basketball heroes. The most popular selfie booth of the night, though, belonged to Syracuse coaches Jim Boeheim and Quentin Hillsman.
The more adventurous asked long-armed players to hold their cameras for actual selfies. Most opted for a standard photo. And this year, people were allowed to get autographs on team posters.
