The Syracuse basketball team is expected to possess a small 2020 recruiting class, given that it has 12 scholarship players on its 2019-20 roster, including no seniors, and 2020 four-star power forward Woody Newton has already committed to the Orange.
As such, the ‘Cuse presently doesn’t have another scholarship available for its 2020 class, although it’s certainly feasible that at least one will open up before the 2020-21 campaign commences, whether due to a current SU guy electing to turn pro or transfer to a different school.
Because of this scholarship situation, Syracuse coaches are acting with laser-focus as they pitch a handful of 2020 targets.
