What a difference a few days in the islands can make.
Syracuse arrived on Paradise Island as a team with question marks after three-closer-than expected games against Lehigh, St. Bonaventure and Elon. The Orange wsa off the national radar and fans were wondering if this team could compete with certain opponents on the schedule, namely ones that had bigger frontcourts.
Syracuse leaves the Bahamas a completely different team. They have earned a spot in the latest AP Top 25 on Monday after two wins over ranked teams. The Orange shot the lights out from 3-point range, found an emerging star in Tyler Lydon, got terrific play from almost everyone on the roster and sent a loud and clear message that no matter what, this is going to be a fun team to track in 2015-16.
