Syracuse, N.Y. -- Buddy Boeheim, a Syracuse University commit in the class of 2018, has been named a team captain at Brewster Academy.
Boeheim, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, was one of three players named team captains for the 2017-18 season. Brewster coach Jason Smith announced this year's captains on the school's Twitter page.

Brewster's two other captains are Lukas Kisunas, a 6-8 forward who has committed to Connecticut; and Nate Roberts, a 6-10 forward who has committed to Washington.
