Syracuse, N.Y. - Jim Boeheim said he's not being cautious with Geno Thorpe.
Thorpe didn't play in Syracuse's exhibition game against Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday because, as Boeheim said, "He can't play.''
A sprained ankle that was supposed to sideline Thorpe for a few days has stretched into two weeks.
Thorpe, a 6-3 guard who transferred from South Florida to Syracuse last spring, was forced to miss the Orange's 84-54 exhibition game victory over Southern New Hampshire at the Carrier Dome.
