Syracuse, N.Y. -- Freshman Bourama Sidibe played just seven minutes Monday night in Syracuse's 74-50 win over Oakland in the Carrier Dome.
SU coach Jim Boeheim said Sidibe has a sore knee that kept him off the court. The 6-foot-10 center was 1-of-2 from the field, grabbed four rebounds and blocked a shot in his limited time.
"Bourama's knee is still a little bit sore," Boeheim said. "We wanted to try to rest him in the second half if we could."
Boeheim complimented the play of his two centers throughout SU's early season games. Sidibe is averaging 6.
