The latest evidence of that came with the announcement that former Syracuse basketball player and Boeheim’s Army member BJ Johnson has signed a deal with the Orlando Magic. He joins another former Syracuse basketball star in Michael Carter-Williams. MCW seemed like his career was on the outs, but got a few 10-day contracts and made a run.
