A recent article noted that Syracuse basketball was among the teams recruiting 2023 four-star prospect Gavin Griffiths the hardest.
As I’ve noted on numerous occasions of late, the Orange coaching staff is doing a remarkable job of getting in early on with high-school prospects who eventually blow up on a national scale.
This appears to be the case with Griffiths, a talented 6-foot-7 wing who is getting ready for his junior season at the Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford, Conn.
Griffiths, by the way, runs on the grassroots basketball circuit with the Boston-based Expressions Elite Basketball, and he had a tremendous summer performing in various AAU competitions, according to multiple national analysts and recruiting insiders.
