The Syracuse basketball program has offered a scholarship to center Donovan Clingan, a class of 2022 prospect who revealed the news via his Twitter page.
The 7-foot Clingan is a rising sophomore at Bristol Central High School in Bristol, Conn.
Mike Waters of Syracuse.com reported that Clingan attended the Orange’s Elite Camp last Saturday. On the AAU circuit, he competes for Team Spartans, a Boston-based group.
I’m not seeing a lot of information on Clingan from the primary recruiting services, but that’s in part due to the fact that he’s only played one season of high-school hoops.
