With the decision by Oshae Brissett to forgo his remaining two years of eligibility on the Syracuse basketball team, that could open up one scholarship, at a minimum, for the program’s 2020 class.
As we’ve noted of late, SU had 13 scholarship guys on its roster heading into the 2019-20 campaign, including no seniors, so that meant technically the ‘Cuse didn’t have a schollie available for the following stanza.
Brissett’s decision changes that, and it’s certainly feasible that additional scholarships could surface, should any other current players elect to transfer prior to the 2020-21 term or declare early for the NBA Draft.
