Overshadowed by Syracuse's 47-0demolition of Rhode Island on Friday was the injury Terrel Hunt suffered midway through the first quarter. After appearing to roll his ankle on a two-yard scamper, Hunt needed to be helped off the field by trainers and later left the field on crutches.
Without Hunt, the Orange plugged in Eric Dungey, who finished 10-of-17 for 134 yards and two touchdown passes before being replaced by Austin Wilson late in the third quarter. Dungey looked like a freshman at times, but he also made a few pretty impressive throws.
