Winston-Salem, N.C. -- Standing outside the Syracuse football locker room at BB&T Field Saturday afternoon, head coach Dino Babers didn't want to talk about the gargantuan opportunity that looms in two weekends.
Neither did Eric Dungey, nor any of his teammates.
That's life within the blossoming Orange program, and it's understandable; premier upsets each of the last two years have been followed by late-season collapses.
But after the 22nd-ranked Orange (7-2, 4-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) defeated Wake Forest 41-24 -- the team's first November win under Babers and second ACC road win during his three-year tenure -- it's impossible for those outside the bubble not to look past SU's matchup with Louisville, a 2-7 tire fire, on Friday.
