After an exciting offseason, official on-field preparations for the 2022 campaign began this week in the Ensley Athletic Center and adjacent practice fields, as spring practice got underway.
The Orange spent the last three months adding proven coaching veterans, exciting transfers and a strong recruiting class to a squad that was just a few plays away from going bowling in 2021. Those additions come to a team that returns 16-of-22 starters, including All-American running back Sean Tucker and First Team All-ACC linebacker Mikel Jones.
Now, the team officially turned the page with four practices over the first week, leading up to the AmeriCU Orange & Blue Game on April 1.
