Tyler Lydon, the Syracuse sophomore sensation, has not made the cut for two of college basketball’s most prestigious honors.
Lydon made the preseason watch lists for both the Naismith Player of the Year and the John R. Wooden Award, but this week he unfortunately did not receive inclusion for either one.
The Los Angeles Athletic Club has announced its late-season top 20 list for the Wooden Award, while the Atlanta Tipoff Club has revealed its mid-season top 30 players in consideration for the Naismith honor, which features seven ACC players. The 10 Naismith semifinalists will get announced on March 1.
