Rumors had been going strong, and now ESPN's Joe Schad says it could happen as early as today. Bowling Green Falcons head coach Dino Babers will be the new head coach of the Syracuse Orange football team.
Before Schad's note, we all sort of suspected this. But it's always good to get a more concrete report.
Babers just coached the Falcons to a 34-14 victory over Northern Illinois in the MAC Championship Game on Friday night. In two years with the Falcons, Bowling Green was 18-9, with two MAC East titles and this year's MAC title.
