SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Redshirt sophomore Tommy DeVito was responsible for four touchdowns in Syracuse's second training camp scrimmage at Schwartzwalder Field on Saturday, Aug. 17. The third-year signal-caller threw three TD passes and scored once himself in the team's last preseason tuneup before the Orange open the 2019 campaign in two weeks at Liberty.
Two of DeVito's touchdown passes were to tight ends, as he connected with both junior Aaron Hackett and freshman Luke Benson for scores. DeVito also threw a 15-yard TD strike to receiver Taj Harris and added a 28-yard touchdown of his own.
