Syracuse's non-conference schedule should be much improved compared to last year's slate of non-ACC games. In a Syracuse.com story published Wednesday, noted statistician Ken Pomeroy said Syracuse's non-conference schedule could climb from last year's low mark of 248 out of 351 teams to a more respectable 144 ranking in 2017-18.
While most fans will look at Syracuse's high-profile opponents like perennial power Kansas, which is coached by Bill Self (pictured), Pomeroy said the reason for the improvement was the elimination of several games against teams ranked outside the top 200.
As a follow-up to that story, it seemed only natural to rank the teams on Syracuse's non-conference schedule.
