The Ernie Davis, Floyd Little and Jim Brown statues will finally see the light of day on November 14.
Plaza 44, featuring statues of Syracuse Orange football greats Ernie Davis, Floyd Little and Jim Brown, was supposed to be officially unveiled last week before home opener against Rhode Island. With little notice, the ceremony was pushed back to a later date without explanation.
Now we know that the statues will be officially unveiled on November 14, the morning of the home game with the Clemson Tigers. Floyd Little made the announcement on TK99 on Wednesday and also alluded to an official reason for the delay.
