Ithaca — If the Syracuse University lacrosse team's season ends in the disappointment that now seems straight ahead, it will have been pushed to that dead end by its struggles in overtime.
The Orange dropped another contest in the extra period Tuesday, 10-9 to Cornell at Schoellkopf Field. It was perhaps the most stunning of SU's three overtime losses this season, coming not to strong foes such as Johns Hopkins or Duke but to a Big Red squad that had struggled this year.
"I think we're fine,'' said Orange goalie Evan Molloy, who made his second straight start.
