This past November, I was watching the Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks battle at the Air Canada Centre, when the unexpected happened.
During a halftime interview with former Syracuse standout and current Raptors broadcaster Leo Rautins, Oshae Brissett announced his decision to play basketball for Syracuse. The 6-foot-9 Missisauga Ontario native pulled out a Syracuse cap during his interview, and Rautins’ face lit up.
At this time, I had no idea who Brissett was, or what type of player he is. Seeing how happy Leo Rautins was during the interview, I knew that this kid was going to make a huge impact on Syracuse’s future.
