Oshae Brissett puts Syracuse basketball on his back: 'He won the game, simple as that'

Dayton, Ohio -- He went up on the left side, soared high toward the rim, then came thudding toward solid hardwood, his back absorbing the weight of his fall.

It happened in the first half of Wednesday's NCAA Tournament First Four game here. Oshae Brissett's collision with 6-foot-8, 235-pound Romello White silenced the 12,732 in attendance.

Brissett said later he wasn't sure exactly what happened.

"It was just a blur," he said. "Once you're in the air and don't feel your legs under you, you know it's going to be a bad fall.
