Syracuse, N.Y. - When Jim Boeheim told his team that it had collected exactly one more missed shot than Cornell last weekend, Oshae Brissett considered that information a direct challenge.
Brissett, Syracuse's sophomore forward, led the Orange in rebounding at 7.4 per game. But his pedigree on the backboards suggested he could do more.
Last year, in a largely phenomenal freshman season, Brissett authored 13 double-doubles and several other near misses in that category. Thus far this season, seven games into the 2018-19 campaign, he had one double-double to his credit - that accomplishment coming against Morehead State on Nov.
