For the second consecutive week, three Syracuse football student-athletes earned Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week honors. Senior quarterback Eric Dungey, junior defensive lineman Alton Robinson and junior wide receiver/kick returner Sean Riley received the recognition for their performances in Syracuse's 51-21 victory against Connecticut on Saturday.
The ACC Quarterback of the Week, Dungey accounted for 363 total yards and five of the Orange's six touchdowns and completed 21-of-27 (.778) passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed 16 times for 77 yards and three scores. Dungey's three rushing touchdowns equaled his career high and matched the Syracuse single-game record for most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback.
