SYRACUSE, N.Y. – In front of a thunderous Carrier Dome crowd, Syracuse (15-12, 8-8 ACC) took down Georgia Tech (13-14, 7-9 ACC), 76-70. The win gives the Orange a sweep in the season series against the Yellow Jackets, having previously beaten the Ramblin' Wreck 97-63 at McCamish Pavilion on December 8. The victory also gives the Orange a 7-6 edge in the all-time series between the two ACC foes.
Elijah Hughes and Marek Dolezaj lead the Orange in scoring with each contributing 20 points. Dolezaj's point total was two shy of his career-high (22).
