SYRACUSE, N.Y.- scored a game-high 21 points and helped Syracuse open the exhibition portion of its schedule with a 79-60 victory against Pace on Wednesday night in the Carrier Dome.

Syracuse took command of the contest with 5:19 remaining in the first half after back-to-back 3-pointers from Swider that started a 14-3 run. The Setters never got within 10 points of the Orange for the remainder of the game.
COACH BOEHEIM SAID
"It was a really good game for us," said head coach . "I thought our defense was good and I thought our ball movement was good.
