Midway through the opening frame, Clemson effectively secured the matchup with a 14-2 run. Hunter Tyson accounted for over half of the Tiger's offensive effort (eight points) in the game-solidifying stretch and CU led 31-16 with eight minutes to play in the opening stanza. Clemson's advantage swelled to as many as 18 points in the Orange defeat.
