SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Former Orange linebacker Zaire Franklin and the Indianapolis Colts (10-6) saw their season come to an end at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional playoffs last Sunday.
Franklin started for the second straight week, lining up at strong-side linebacker against the Chiefs. Franklin and his teammates on the defensive side of the ball prevented Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the league's leading touchdown passer, from throwing for a score, but Kansas City ran for four touchdowns and emerged victorious, 31-13.
The game marked Franklin's fourth start of the year.
