SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Redshirt freshman placekicker Andre Szmyt, redshirt junior punter Sterling Hofrichter and true freshman safety Andre Cisco were recognized by multiple media outlets this week for their performances during the first half of the 2018 college football season.
Szmyt was named a midseason All-American by ESPN, Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, the Associated Press, USA Today (second team) and The Athletic (second team). Hofrichter also earned USA Today Midseason All-America Second Team honors, while Cisco was voted to the ESPN Midseason Freshman All-America Team.
