SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Orange head football coach Dino Babers announced Monday that running back Abdul Adams has joined the program as a transfer from the University of Oklahoma.
Adams, who spent the 2016 and 2017 seasons with the Sooners, is enrolled in classes at Syracuse and will participate in spring drills. Per NCAA rules, he will sit out the 2018 season. Adams will have two seasons of eligibility remaining beginning in 2019.
A 5-11, 205-pound native of Landover, Md., Adams rushed for 825 yards and a touchdown in 19 career games for Oklahoma.
