Syracuse basketball fans who have been watching the NCAA's response to North Carolina with significant interest are likely disappointed with the Notice of Allegations that SU's conference rivals received in the mail on Monday.
The NCAA hit Syracuse with sanctions just over a year ago, punishing the Orange for a variety of offenses, the most serious of which involved academic fraud in an attempt to keep Fab Melo eligible.
North Carolina, meanwhile, offered substandard classes for nearly two decades in its African-American studies discipline, courses that involved little-to-no work, little-to-no attendance and were taken by athletes at disproportionate rates.
