Syracuse (6-4, 3-3 ACC) lost to #25 Florida State (7-3, 5-3 ACC), 38-3, inside the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday night.
Quarterback Garret Shrader completed 6-of-16 passes for 65 yards. Damien Alford led the Orange with two receptions (23 yards), while Oronde Gadsden II (29 yards), Devaughn Cooper (4 yards), and Sean Tucker each had one apiece.
Tucker rushed for a grand total of 52 yards over the course of 14 attempts. The Heisman candidate moved past Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame inductee Larry Csonka (1965-67) taking over fourth place on the all-time career rushing list with 2,951 career rushing yards.
