The No. 2 Syracuse Orange field hockey team came into their game Friday against the Monmouth Hawks undefeated and they will enter their next game undefeated as well. The Orange wore down the Hawks over the course of the game and ended up cruising to a 5-0 victory, their tenth on the year.
Scoring started slowly and it wasn't until the 27th minute when Laura Hurff got her first goal of the season on an assist from Roos Weers off a corner.
