Class of 2015 signee Moustapha Diagne has not had his eligibility confirmed on by the NCAA, per a report by the New Jersey Herald, and he accepted a visa from a junior college on Thursday, his deadline to be enrolled in a college.
“He needed to accept a visa from a junior college (Thursday),” Diagne’s basketball coach at Pope John XXIII Regional (New Jersey) High School, Jason Hasson, said to the New Jersey Herald. “So, that was the way we went.”
Diagne’s eligibility is in question because of a class he took in Senegal, where he’s from, before coming to the United States in 2012.
