Syracuse, N.Y. -- Mike Hopkins returned to Syracuse earlier this week for the first time since he left to take the University of Washington's head coaching job in March of 2017.
Hopkins' visit was brief; barely 24 hours if that. He had been the featured speaker at a Coaches vs. Cancer event in Albany on Monday night and then drove to Syracuse where he met with a small group of people attending a leadership summit on Tuesday night at Eve's Carriage Barn in East Syracuse.
Ralph Simone, the founder of Baldwinsville-based Emergent, which provides executive coaching and leadership training, had invited Hopkins to speak.
