SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Oakland Raiders signed former Orange offensive tackle Jamar McGloster to their practice squad on Tuesday, Oct. 30. The move came after Oakland elevated linebacker James Cowser from the practice squad to the active roster following cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's retirement.
McGloster joins the Raiders after a brief stint with the San Diego Chargers. He was a member of their practice squad until being waived on Oct. 10.
An undrafted rookie free agent, McGloster entered the NFL earlier this year with the San Francisco 49ers. After being waived by San Francisco, McGloster joined the Detroit Lions, suiting up for two preseason games before his release in August.
