Detroit - Marek Dolezaj's friends and family in Slovakia clogged his cell phone with happy messages early Saturday morning.
Dolezaj scored 17 points and was instrumental in Syracuse's 57-52 win over TCU that boosted the Orange into the Round of 32 and Michigan State.
His people back home stream the games on the internet.
"My parents try to watch every game," Dolezaj said. "Sometimes it's hard because the stream is not working. My friend are watching some of the other games. There's a time difference. And it's always at night."
Slovakia is six hours ahead of Syracuse in terms of time difference.
