Syracuse, N.Y. -- The NCAA needs Frank Abagnale.
If you want to clean up college basketball, you need someone who knows where to find the dirt. You need Frank Abagnale.
Abagnale was the con-man, check forger and inveterate imposter whose life story was the subject of the movie "Catch Me If You Can,'' in which Leonardo DiCaprio played Abagnale. When FBI agent Tom Hanks finally caught Abagnale near the end of the movie, Abagnale agreed to help the FBI solve other forgery crimes.
In the wake of the FBI's recent investigation, NCAA president Mark Emmert announced the establishment of a new commission designed to clean up college basketball.
