Syracuse (3-3) lost to Bryant (5-1), 73-72, in an intense battle inside the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday afternoon.
Syracuse was led by a 25-point career outing from freshman guard Justin Taylor, who topped his previous personal best of five points against Northeastern just a week ago. 16 of Taylors points came in the second half of action.
WHEN THE GAME WAS DECIDED
Syracuse held a 72-71 advantage with eight seconds left in the contest, as senior guard Joseph Girard III made two free-throws at the line, but late layup from Sherif Gross-Bullock propelled Bryant to the win as time on the clock expired.
