Syracuse, N.Y. — It's not that Brianna Butler, the 5-foot-11 guard with the quick trigger and the quicker release, doesn't have a conscience because she's forever thinking of the other young women in her locker room.
But that guilt thing? A fair amount of it has been squeezed out of her like grapes in a press.
It's like this: Butler, the Syracuse University graduate student who's taken her itchy finger to Indianapolis and the Final Four, was once a bit reluctant to take aim and fire.
She'd shoot the basketball, sure. But if she missed too often, she'd fret.
