Syracuse, N.Y. — Karl Malone, the NBA Hall of Famer who spent 18 seasons with the Utah Jazz, one season with the Los Angeles Lakers and is the second all-time leading scorer in league history, was in Syracuse this weekend for the SU-LSU football game.
Malone's son, K.J., is an offensive lineman for LSU.
Malone arrived in Syracuse on Saturday morning and met with Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim at the Melo Center before settling down in section 109, row H, inside the Carrier Dome for the Tigers' 34-24 victory against the Orange.
Incredible experience for guys.
