Tyus Battle made his decision to leave the Syracuse basketball program in 2018, not 2019. When Battle said he was returning for his junior campaign back in 2018 he said: “my plan is to re-enter the draft next year.”
So it wasn’t a huge surprise when he ultimately followed through on that prophecy in the spring of 2019.

Players that are projected to go very high in the draft don’t do many workouts because they already know their draft position is secure.
