Jim Boeheim on SU's role players: 'Those guys are not capable of scoring right now'

Chestnut Hill, Mass. -- As Syracuse star freshman Oshae Brissett isolated on Boston College defender Jordan Chatman in front of the BC bench on Wednesday night, BC head coach Jim Christian jumped into the air and frantically waved for forward Vin Baker Jr. to provide help.

Baker Jr. hesitated. Christian waved his arms more urgently. The defender ultimately arrived a step late, after Brissett had already blown past his first defender. He drew a foul on his second.

"Come on Vin," Christian shouted into the air as the teams went to timeout.

Christian was imploring Baker to move toward the 3-point arc, a shift that required him to leave a 7-foot-2 center unguarded, just a catch and a quick step away from an easy dunk and automatic two points.
