New York -- Jim Boeheim would not say if he thought Syracuse should receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, but then the Hall of Fame spent the next five minutes laying out the case for the Orange.
Syracuse suffered a 62-57 loss to Miami in the second round of the ACC tournament at the Barclays Center on Wednesday.
The loss dropped Syracuse's record to 18-14 on the season. The Orange did go 10-8 in the ACC, which is considered the best conference in the country. In finishing in a three-way tie for seventh, Syracuse beat a trio of Top 10 teams, including Duke, Virginia and Florida State.
