Tallahassee, Fla. -- Syracuse was on the receiving end of an unusual call with 2:36 remaining in overtime in its 101-90 double-overtime loss to Florida State on Friday.
With Syracuse leading 80-78 and Florida State attempting to in-bound the ball, Syracuse guard Howard Washington intentionally pushed Florida State center Chris Koumadje in order to put him at the free-throw line.
The unusual part, though, came when Washington was called for a flagrant foul, giving Florida State two free throws and possession of the ball.
Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim answered a question from reporters about the call briefly and calmly after the game.
