Charlotte, N.C. -- The NBA's recent initiative to offer $125,000 contracts to high school players who wish to skip college and play in the G-League was the subject of great discussion at the ACC's annual media day here at the Spectrum Center on Wednesday.
Great discussion, but not great concern.
"I think we'll have to see from a practical standpoint how it works,'' ACC commissioner John Swofford said. "I certainly don't have a problem with it at all from a collegiate perspective. I think it gives another avenue that a young person can take, if he so chooses.
