Syracuse, N.Y. -- Senior guard Jasmine Nwajei made her Syracuse women's basketball debut by playing 19 minutes off the bench and scoring 11 points in the season-opener against Morgan State on Nov. 10.
The workload and production wasn't anywhere close to what she was used to at Wagner, where Nwajei was a standout before transferring to the Orange two seasons ago. But she figured her transition into a regular spot at SU would take a little time, so she shrugged it off.
"At the beginning of the season, after the first game, I was just like, OK, maybe we're just getting our feet wet,'' she said.
