Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse athletics announced Wednesday that rapper Jadakiss will perform at the basketball team's Orange Madness event this year.

In 2013, the school had scheduled Ace Hood to perform but cancelled the act amid concerns he wasn't family-friendly enough.
Jadakiss' most well-known successes came in 2004 when his singles Why and U Make Me Wanna, both had success on Billboard charts.
