NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Syracuse wide receiver was named to the Walter Camp All-America Second Team on Thursday night. The 128th edition of the All-America teams, which are named after the legendary Yale head coach, were released by the Walter Camp Football Foundation at the start of the Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN.
Ishmael is the 16th Syracuse player to earn Walter Camp All-America honors and first since Dwight Freeney (first team) in 2001.
First selected in 1889, the Walter Camp All-America Team is the oldest in the nation. Players were selected in a vote by the 130 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) head coaches and sports information directors.
