Syracuse, N.Y. — Quarterback Rex Culpepper is one of the more interesting Syracuse commits in recent memory.
He's a straight-A student who received offers from traditional powers like Florida, Ohio State and Clemson early in his recruitment. His father, Brad, was an NFL defensive lineman. His mother, Monica, participated in two seasons of Survivor (with Brad in one of them).
So it should come as no surprise at this point that the Plant (Tampa, Fla.) High School junior lives three doors down from another Class of 2016 target: Berkeley (Tampa, Fla.) Preparatory School defensive tackle Bo Peek.
